Youth Sewing Club September 10h, 17th, and 24th $60.00

In youth sewing club students will get more comfortable with the sewing machine and sewing tools, while creating fun projects.

Ages 10 to 15

September 10th, 17th, and 24th 

6:30pm to 8:30pm

$60 plus Supplies

We have student machines. ( but prefer you to bring yours, so you learn how to trouble shoot your own machine.)

Supplies:

 1st project:

2 fat Quarters and 3 buttons, thread to match.

 2nd project

1/2 meter of fabric, and 1 meter of webbing, thread to match

 3rd project

1/2 meter fabric, and 50" of cord or a long shoe lace, thread to match

 In this class students will learn the basic operation of a sewing machine. 

They will learn how to care for a machine, thread the machine, and fill the bobbin.

We will learn about French seams and the importance of ironing.

If the youth has knowledge but wants to learn more skills, we have more fun projects to create. More / different  supplies may be required.
