We have been busy at the shop getting ready for our annual Quilt Retreat that we sponsor. This is my 3rd year coordinating this event with a great team of helpers!
This event is only possible with the support of our local community and our vendors that support with donations.
Thank you Trendtex, EEschenck, Ha kidd, N Jefferson, Sawyers, Seasport, and as more items arrive we will add them.... Letters went out last week locally.
We had a large donation of stunning fabrics from Lynn Seidels estate, in store quality condition. These fabrics will be used in prizes throughout the event.
The event happens May 10th, 11th, and 12th. We have 82 participants this year and 44 are from out of town.
Rupert retreat puts funds back into our local community with the help of the Big Rain Quilters.
In 2023, $6000 was donated to the Seniors Center towards their new roof, and we donated $500 to the Moose hall towards their new furnace.
We want to help community.
