Fall is here, time to wrap up the gardens and sew 💕

Well fall is in the air. It is cool and crisp, and the colours of fall are happening. I love the colours of nature for all of the seasons, but fall is my favorite.

I have been busily getting my daughter ready for her final year of high school, and my husband and boys off to start their season fishing. 

This summer I was able to visit my dad, I wish that the visit was longer. Time is an issue, it is always an issue... We went to the island and helped my mother inlaw with a few things, then returned to Rupert.

I was able to attend my quilt guild this weekend. It was really nice to catch up with old friends. And i managed to get some projects worked on.

When you own a fabric store you do not get to sew like you once did. 

Our local quilting Guild- The Big Rain Quilters- worked on care quilts. Prince Rupert is blessed to have such caring, and talented people in our community.

If you have a local Quilting Guild i highly recommend that you check them out. I have been a member for 25 years and they are like family.

There is alot of local talent here in Prince Rupert.  From fibre artists, painters, writers, stained glass, mosaic artist......ect......
